I Was Ahead of Schedule Today!

This was originally my Facebook post in a mommy-group that I’m a part of. It was pretty funny so I figured I’d share in my blog, since I’ve been awol for so long. Enjoy😘!

My Morning List📝:

Wake kids up on time for school ✅
Start car ahead of time so it’s warm for kids ✅
Make it to bus stop #1 on time ✅ (⚠️ don’t embarrass 7th grader in the process, i.e. don’t breath)✅✅
Arrive at school to drop kid #2 off on time... ✅ #FeelingAccomplished💃🏿

🚫⚠️🚫⚠️🚫WAIT: Instantly realizes that this accomplished woman forgot to put on a bra 👙this morning and I’ve gotta go inside the school to sign-in my preschooler😳 (for anyone over a DD cup, you know this is a no-no in public spaces 🥴)! Hmmm🤔... I literally didn’t even realize that I still had on my pajamas 😵🙄😭... no wonder I was ahead of schedule today 🤦🏽‍♀️! #TrueStory Whatev’s...🤣🙌🏾! Happy Monday Mamas!!!

My Piece/Peace of the 🌍!

When I tell you, peace and quite in my own little piece/peace of this world is all I desire 💯👌🏾💖… I am so grateful to be in a safe place; physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially and so on… Money can’t buy contentment or happiness! My kids are loved and well taken care of, I’ve learned my self-worth throughout this journey of life and no one can ever take my worthiness away, my business is coming along successfully, my skin is glowing, my daily routine is productive, my time is what I set it to be, I am intentional, I am whole and complete, I am a Virtuous Woman, I am loved by my Father, God Almighty and He is proud of His daughter… this brings me happiness and contentment. Just sitting on my bed, breathing as the sun shines in. Babbbbyyyy… these here sun rays always got my body synthesizing this Vitamin D and it legit puts me in a good mood👏🏾every👏🏾single👏🏾day ☀️💯. Just being able to have piece/peace and quiet… and watch the sunset from my balcony ...

THIS IS NOT EDUCATION!!!

#JustThinkingOutLoud with this one… This massacre is heart-wrenching, unthinkable, heart-stopping and all too-close to home… My daughter’s high school was on a full lockdown just yesterday for a gun on campus!!! Last summer I had to pull my son out of summer school (he’s special needs and it was his first time back after two years of COVID and he absolutely needed the extra schooling)… but I couldn’t send him back after a fifth grader brought the firearm… and my sons teacher/class had to take in the class of the student who brought the gun because the fifth grade teacher had to do police briefings and reports for the rest of the day. Last Friday my daughter told me of a shooting that took place after a highschool graduation at a school where she trains and runs track. Shooting at Highschool on May 19, 2022 .
