Christmas Gift To Self!

This is a quick ⌚ one that I took from my recent Facebook post, but I wanted to share what was a hilarious experience for me as I process my frugal ways in life😋!

True story 💯! I saw this staple gun in Aldi's on Dec. 6th for $9.99, but was elated 🙌🏽 that it was on sale for $3.99 😱! I immediately thought to myself, "OMG! I've found the PERFECT Christmas 🎄 gift 🎁 for others"... then I had to realize a couple things: 1) Errrybody don't want a staple gun as much as you've desired one, JacQuaye and 2) Errrybody who ever wanted one probably didn't wait around for 15 years (LITERALLY) for it to go on sale for less than $5 before purchasing! More than likely, they were willing to pay the $10+ tax 🤦😂!!! #ConfessionsOfACheapChick Ohhh how I've contemplated for hours the projects I'll tackle 🤔💃🤗💃😊💃!!!... With this newly found freedom... That I was only willing to pay $3.99 for 😂😂😂! (I just knew I was gonna be able to spend $20 on Errrybody and be done with my list 😊!)

My Piece/Peace of the 🌍!

When I tell you, peace and quite in my own little piece/peace of this world is all I desire 💯👌🏾💖… I am so grateful to be in a safe place; physically, emotionally, spiritually, financially and so on… Money can’t buy contentment or happiness! My kids are loved and well taken care of, I’ve learned my self-worth throughout this journey of life and no one can ever take my worthiness away, my business is coming along successfully, my skin is glowing, my daily routine is productive, my time is what I set it to be, I am intentional, I am whole and complete, I am a Virtuous Woman, I am loved by my Father, God Almighty and He is proud of His daughter… this brings me happiness and contentment. Just sitting on my bed, breathing as the sun shines in. Babbbbyyyy… these here sun rays always got my body synthesizing this Vitamin D and it legit puts me in a good mood👏🏾every👏🏾single👏🏾day ☀️💯. Just being able to have piece/peace and quiet… and watch the sunset from my balcony ...

THIS IS NOT EDUCATION!!!

#JustThinkingOutLoud with this one… This massacre is heart-wrenching, unthinkable, heart-stopping and all too-close to home… My daughter’s high school was on a full lockdown just yesterday for a gun on campus!!! Last summer I had to pull my son out of summer school (he’s special needs and it was his first time back after two years of COVID and he absolutely needed the extra schooling)… but I couldn’t send him back after a fifth grader brought the firearm… and my sons teacher/class had to take in the class of the student who brought the gun because the fifth grade teacher had to do police briefings and reports for the rest of the day. Last Friday my daughter told me of a shooting that took place after a highschool graduation at a school where she trains and runs track. Shooting at Highschool on May 19, 2022 .
