Best Kept Secret Ever!

OMG! I just stumbled upon the best kept secret EVER (to woman anyways)! Okay so, my husband has had his electric razor for years, but I just decided to grab one of my own as a "I'll try it/spur of the moment purchase!" I mean, why not? It was on sale! Now, I'm typically the traditional razor type of gal' and I'm definitely a loyal Nair user, but this product has changed my life over the last 12 hours!

This Product Tho #LIFECHANGING

I may be exaggerating about a change in my life, but it certainly is one of the easiest and most efficient products I've ever used!!! And it only took me 33 years to find it!

There have been just a few hygiene-related products that I've been made aware of over the years that I now consider staple must-haves.

For instance, when I was in college about to perform with my dance group, it was in that very moment that I realized my armpits weren't shaved . My best friend, being the best friend she was, rushed to my aid and showed me how to shave with a razor for the first time, on the spot, and saved me the embarrassment of hairy armpits while on stage! (Don't get it twisted, I wasn't just rugged and hairy... I told you, I was loyal to my Nair products, no matter how messy.)

Prior to college I was a maxi-type-of-girl, but my oh my, the invention of that little plugging contraption is wonderful (encrypted message here, but you get where I'm going)! There's been no need to look back since then.

Next there was the, "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" stage of my life in which I received "Bikini Zone, Anti-Bumps Shave Gel" as a wedding gift (for the obvious reason, right?) and it was pretty good too!

But until I tried the "Wahl Clean & Confident Precision Detailer"  (runs about $10.00) my life was so bland! I mean this product RIGHT HERE! Honeyyyyy, you don't know what you're missing out on if you ain't got one of these rightchea! When I tell you that this lil' thang will getcho life together and take out all the guess work out of having to take your glasses off and feel around downtown only to find that you gotta go back for a round 2 of mowing the lawn!

Girllll, you can use this bad mammajama in front of the mirror (wit' yo' glasses on and errthing). I'm telling you, it worked wonders! Especially if you're a visually impaired sista' like me and you can't wing it in the shower cause your glasses are all fogged up and slippin' off your face anyways!

Look! If you're just looking for that little bit of hope, then this is the product for you! And it's summer time too! I'm just here to bless you and your bikini line! Your swimsuit thanks you in advance boo.

Love y'all and stayed trimmed!

One Year Later... After Fleeing Domestic Violence!

Click to listen to The Single Wife Life Podcast, Episode 6  I'd taken a job over an hour away from where I lived. Partly because I'd set my career goals on the organization as I admired the great work being done there and within the community overall, around diversity, equity and inclusion. The other part was simply because I wanted to move. I never really had plans of staying in the small-country town in Michigan that had become my home for almost 10 years. So when the opportunity of employment elsewhere presented itself, I jumped.  Problem is, when you're married, you can't jump in whatever direction you please, whenever you please. Well, I'd been meeting opposition for years and I was the only person who wanted to move forward and progress. Inwardly, I was on a journey to have a much better life than what my children and I had experienced. As such, I took the job in another town, was willing to commute two to three hours per day, and had the mindset that I'd...

THIS IS NOT EDUCATION!!!

#JustThinkingOutLoud with this one… This massacre is heart-wrenching, unthinkable, heart-stopping and all too-close to home… My daughter’s high school was on a full lockdown just yesterday for a gun on campus!!!  Last summer I had to pull my son out of summer school (he’s special needs and it was his first time back after two years of COVID and he absolutely needed the extra schooling)… but I couldn’t send him back after a fifth grader brought the firearm… and my sons teacher/class had to take in the class of the student who brought the gun because the fifth grade teacher had to do police briefings and reports for the rest of the day. Last Friday my daughter told me of a shooting that took place after a highschool graduation at a school where she trains and runs track.  Shooting at Highschool on May 19, 2022 . It’s worth nothing that, although we may not hear about school  shootings everyday, they’re occurring frequently. Think about it! Were you aware of the shootin...
